Destinations for a trip to Hyderabad

  • Golconda Fort – The fort is located about 10 km west of modern Ai, the main structure of the fort rises on top of a 120-meter granite hill and is completely surrounded by protective walls. The defenses of the fort are designed to prevent elephants from attacking them. The fort also includes a secret underground tunnel.

The tombs of the Qutub Shahi kingsare located near the walls.

  • Mecca Masjid Mosque – one of the largest Muslim mosques in the world! And entry is only allowed to Muslims. However, you can take a tour from the outside
  • Triumphal Arch – Char Minar – The Triumphal Arch was built by Muhammad Quli Qutb in 1591, as a memorial to the end of a severe epidemic that was raging at the time. The gate has four (Char) tall towers, topped by a minaret (Minar) and four magnificent arches

Birla Mandir Statue – A statue with a historical story. Very interesting. The 17-meter-high statue, 350 tons of white marble, stands on an island in the center of Lake Hussein. The transfer of the statue involved a tragic event, the statue sank in the lake and drowned with it a thousand people. After two years, the statue was pulled out of the lake (by the way, unharmed) and placed on an artificial island in the center of the lake.
