November to March is recommended to visit the south-central region of India. From April, the season begins in the north, but not in all destinations. India is open to tourism all year round, but depending on when you decide to come, we have prepared an excellent tool for you that allows you to see which regions in India are in season according to the months in which you will travel.

When is the best time to visit North India?
From April it is summer in India, in the south it starts to get very hot, in the north it becomes pleasant and not cold, from April this is the best time to visit the north, which is also divided into several districts, it is important to note that in the middle of the season there are monsoons, this should not bother you, yes during the monsoon period there can be two whole days of non-stop rain, but this is also an experience and it does not stop travelers from being in the monsoon area.

Notes:

  • The warmest months: April-September. During these months it is worth being in Ladakh / Kashmir or Himachal Pradesh, despite the monsoons (June-September) in the rest of India it is very hot and difficult to travel, the weather even reaches 40 degrees.
  • The winter months: October - March: The season for the whole south of course. In Rishikesh and Rajasthan it is very pleasant during the days and cold at nights.
  • I usually always go to Delhi and Agra, but there are more pleasant periods.
There's no reason you shouldn't have a soft landing.
